It brings tears to my eyes.
They have been doing this for a while and I only found out about it in the last year or so. . .
My brothers-in-law are best friends and do a weekly Bible / book study and keep each other accountable spiritually. They are reading & discussing the book, "True Spirituality" right now. It impresses me so much, because it seems relatively easy to find older godly men, but not young men like these who are spiritually grounded and mature. And many guys get together for all kinds of things, but the fact that they make time weekly to invest in each other spiritually says so much about what kind of men they are.
Of all the things I would want most for my future husband, the most important is that he would have men of integrity in his life who would invest in him spiritually, hold him accountable and challenge him to hunger after the Word.
Lord, thank you for Matt and Carter, the best brothers-in-law I could ask for and for the spiritual example they set for my little nephews. I feel beyond blessed to have men like that in my family!
